Shipping policy

MAKOBI customers can choose their preferred shipping option and we’ll provide an estimated delivery date for every item in your bag based on your shipping selection and the delivery address. We offer the following shipping options:

Domestic Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of requests, shipments may be delayed in 3-4 days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. 

SHIPPING COST

Shipping cost is calculated on a "per pound" basis from the shipping option you selected. We offer free ground shipping for local delivery with minimum order amounting to $100 and above.

Expedited

  • 2nd-day air/2nd-day air AM 
  • 3-day select

Expedited & Express Shipping MAY not be available in your location. Any orders placed by FRIDAY or during WEEKENDS will be processed on the following week (MONDAY) REGARDLESS OF THE SHIPPING REQUEST.

Express

  • NEXT DAY AIR
  • overnight delivery AFTER processing the order

International

  • USPS MAIL
  • It may take 10-30 Business days or more (depending on the destination)

DELIVERY TIME

MAKOBI does not operate during HOLIDAYS and WEEKENDS. Orders placed Friday after 9 AM, Saturdays & Sundays will be shipped out by the next week.

MAKOBI  ships out orders on a first come first serve basis. We normally process NEXT DAY, SECOND DAY AIR, AND 3 DAY SELECT in a timely manner. Any issues with regards to the delivery date and time are a freight/courier's discretion.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

MAKOBI  ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, but is limited to PO box & AFO/FPO.

 

DELIVERY REFUSAL POLICY

You may refuse a package only when the delivery driver is present and before signing for the package. Simply inform the driver of your intention to refuse the package and he/she will keep the package instead of leaving it. A customer "COULD BE" liable for a back-and-forth delivery fee.  If you have already signed for the package, it is considered delivered and must be returned according to our return policy.

 

SIGNATURE REQUIRED POLICY

As of December 01, 2021, all packages $100 and above "require a signature". UPS does three attempts to deliver your package. If no such person could sign for it, you may call UPS and request for your merchandise to be dropped off at any UPS access point near you.  Otherwise, UPS will return it back to our warehouse and the customer COULD BE liable for the return shipping fee.


Customs, Duties, and Taxes

MAKOBI  is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY  (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

 International Shipping Policy

MAKOBI  ships outside the U.S. but please be reminded that it might take a few weeks in order for you to receive your package.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  •  We process and deliver orders Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). 
  • Orders placed after 9:00 will be processed and shipped on the next day.
  • Any orders placed by Friday and during the weekend will be handled on the next week ( mostly Monday depending on the volume of orders received)
  • If you order multiple items, you may get multiple deliveries. We’ll send you a shipping confirmation email for each shipment, so you’ll know exactly what to expect and when to expect it. Hence, we can send it in one package as per customers' requests. You may email us at info@makobiusa.com.
  • The estimated delivery date in your checkout is based on your delivery address and the shipping option you’ve selected.

 

LOST PACKAGE

  • UPS requires the shipper & receiver to report any lost packages. 
  • UPS will conduct an investigation that may take 3-8 business days for it to be resolved. This includes calling the recipient for further information regarding the package itself. They also talk to the driver and the distribution center who handled the parcel/box. 
  • After the investigation takes place, UPS will email/call the sender and provide the details of what has happened to the goods. 
  • Subsequently, MAKOBI will call and apprise the customer of the necessary solution.
